«How Attention and Language Conspire to Create Meaning»
Uma conferência do CECC em colaboração com o Instituto de Ciências de Saúde: Todd Oakley, 25 de Novembro de 2011.
The international journal for "Translation Studies" (Vol. 3, No. 2, 2010, 252-256) published a joint review of two books on "Translation and Censorship", one edited by CECC researchers Teresa Seruya and Maria Lin Moniz (Translation and Censorship in Different Times and Landscapes, ed. Teresa Seruya and Maria Lin Moniz, Newcastle, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2008). The contributions of the volume "successfully disseminate new knowledge that will surely broaden our understanding of the manifestations and mechanisms of translation and censorship throughout the world." writes Denise Merkle.
